Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on Barsleys web site. Please read carefully and print a copy for reference.

1) All prices are shown in £ sterling and we reserve the right to change any advertised price at any time.

2) All products are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

3) Delivery charges are specified and are available to UK mainland addresses only.

4) Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta. Payment will be deducted from the account on despatch of purchase.

5) Delivery will usually be 5 working days: a signature may be required.

6) Should there be a delay in delivery time then we will notify you within 3 working days, you will be advised of the expected delivery date or if the product is no longer available. You will have the opportunity of cancelling the order if the expected delivery date is unacceptable.

7) We will endeavour to take all reasonable care, in so far as it is possible to do so, to keep details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part, will not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to data you provide when accessing or ordering.

8) In the event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please contact us. In case of non delivery please wait 14 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the product and contact us within 3 days of receipt, whereupon we will arrange for the item to be exchanged.

9) Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the option to cancel your order within seven days of receipt of the goods, without giving a reason or having to bear the costs of returning the goods to us. A refund will be given immediately the goods are received by us in good condition.

10) Should you ever have cause to make a complaint, we guarantee to respond within 3 working days.

11) We do not send out unsolicited marketing material.

12) Any data collected by us during the course of business with you is purely for our own use and is not forwarded or sold to any third party.

13) None of the above affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Online Returns Policy

Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. This includes any basic delivery charge.
When you return your item you’ll need to bring your receipt or delivery note and we’ll happily refund to the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase.
It’s important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in a re-saleable condition. We’d expect this to mean that you’ve kept all original packaging and labels, and that it’s undamaged and unused.

 

In Store Returns Policy

We will exchange goods returned within 28 days of purchase provided a valid proof of purchase is presented.

Items that have been purchased at a sale/reduced price are non-returnable.

For reasons of health and hygiene we are unable to exchange or refund the following products:

·         Pierced earrings.

·         Quilts, duvets, pillows and mattresses, if the original packaging has been opened or damaged.

·         Gift food and products containing alcohol.

·         Underwear/lingerie, control wear, hosiery and swimwear, unless the hygiene strips and tags are still in place and packaging remains unopened and undamaged.

·         Hats and hair accessories unless tags are still in place and packaging remains unopened and undamaged.

·         Made to Measure or personalised orders.

·         Gift Cards

These products can only be returned in accordance with your legal rights (for example, if they are found to be not fit for purpose.)

This does not affect your statutory rights.
