Curtain Linings

For improved drape it is recommended that all curtains (and valances) are lined.  The following linings are available on Barsleys Express Delivery curtains:

Premium Lining

Premium lining is our suggested choice of lining for Curtain Express curtains, valances, Roman blinds and bedspreads. This luxury polycotton twill has a fantastic drape for improved appearance.

Standard Lining

Curtain Express standard lining is a 50% polyester 50% ivory cotton lining with an easycare finish to minimise creasing.

Blackout Lining

Curtain Express curtains, valances and Roman blinds are available with blackout lining.   The lining is available in either white or ivory. Please note that although the lining is blackout some light will still be visible around the edge of the curtain or blind. To minimise this effect, please ensure that your curtains (or blind) extend at least 10cm beyond each edge of the window.

Thermal Lining

Curtain Express thermal lining is 50% polyester and 50% cotton lining with a coating on one side. This gives it insulating properties which help to reduce heat loss from a window and therefore also helps to conserve energy.

Bonded Interlining

Curtain Express bonded interlining provides extra warmth.
