Are you looking for handcrafted curtains? Then come to Barsleys where we offer Made to Measure curtains from Richard Barrie. These curtains are beautifully hand sewn and custom made guaranteeing a bespoke finish. Being hand sewn the curtains will take 4-6 weeks to be made but when you see the finished goods you will realise the wait has been worthwhile. Richard Barrie is committed to providing the highest quality products.
The Made to Measure curtains from Richard Barrie are available in 100s of beautiful fabrics. The collection of fabrics can be seen in store and incorporates traditional with contemporary designs, suitable for a range of tastes, styles and decors.
Come into our Curtain Department in Paddock Wood with your measurements or book a home visit by ringing the Curtain Department. If you need any advice on taking measurements we will be happy to advise you. We can also discuss the choice of linings, headings and accessories that are available as shown below.
Linings on Made to Measure Curtains
Satin Ivory is standard, with upgrades to blackout, thermal, twill or bonded linings also available.
Construction of Made to Measure Curtains
Bag lined as standard but can upgrade to blind hemmed sides and hand sewn interlined.

Pencil (ends tied, plastic curtain hooks supplied)
Pinch (metal pin hook, can select size of returns and overlap, choice of buckram depths)
Eyelet (Nickel, Brass, Old Gold, Satin Silver, Soft Black, Gunmetal)

On made to measure you can have contrast leading/trailing edge borders, top and/or bottom contrast panels, buttons on the pinch pleats.
Cushions on Made to Measure
Contrast piped cushions on all sizes/shapes, different fabrics on the reverse of the cushion, filled with fibre and feather pads. Cushion cover only also available.

Contrast borders
